Luckily, I don't think my sister ~emmypinky uses dA anymore..unless I'm at school...I think she comes on to check up on stuff...but I'm home now so that won't be necessary anymore xD She won't see this x'D (I hope .__.)
Anyway, it's my lil sister's 16th birthday on June 18th. Pretty special, so I wanted to personally make her something (I'm buying her something too
We're going to Ed Sheeran/Taylor Swift Concert in Toronto on Saturday, so I'll be paying for the merch she obsesses over x'D ). I normally don't really draw gifts for people...since I'm like "Eh, my art isn't good enough" or I just have no idea what to draw for them o_o
But, I came across this picture we took when I came home for a visit for Easter this year: [link] and I thought it would be perfect to turn into a toony drawing that she could frame in her room.
Originally, I planned for it to be digital..but I find traditional, original sketches are more of a keepsake, and special. So, I grabbed my left over water colour paper from school this year, and started sketching.
Stayed up till 5am last night; I have a tenancy to start something, and finish it that day =__= bad habit...but I guess its a good thing, right?
So, from left to right, me, my lil sister Emma, and my baby sister Chloe c: Pretty much us summed up in one picture (Although I never do duck faces, unless I'm with them lmao, was going to change my expression, but naaahh, it'd ruin it)
Total time was 2 hours I believe? Dunno..somewhere around that.
